Jamaican Jerk Rub
Jerk seasoning originated in Jamaican and is widely used throughout the Caribbean. Jerk is a term used to refer to a style of cooking where meat is dry-rubbed or marinated in a spicy seasoning. Use 1 tablespoon per 1 LB of meat for a dry-rub.
To create your own marinade at home, combine jerk seasoning with olive oil, lime juice.
Ingredients: Cayenne Pepper, Scotch Bonnet, Raw Sugar, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Coriander, Ginger, Thyme, Dried Green Pepper, Dried Red Pepper, Allspice, Paprika, Garlic, Black Pepper, Cloves, Cinnamon, Nutmeg.
